UR Vice Chancellor and senior management team hosted a special gala dinner on December 17th, 2025 at the Nyarugenge Headquarters to honor the members of the Students Senate and Guild Councils.

The UR Students Senate is made up of representatives from the seven colleges, with each college represented by two students, one female and one male. These student senators serve for one year. When their term ends, campus guild councils help recommend new students to take over these leadership roles.
