Kephers Usenge

Kephers Usenge is a lecturer with over 20 years’ experience in academia both in Kenya and Rwanda. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration with specialization in Insurance from the University of Nairobi. He is currently pursuing his PhD studies at JKUAT (Kenya). Kephers is also a holder of the ACCII Diploma obtained from UK and is a chartered Insurance Practitioner. He was involved in setting up the Banking and Insurance Departmentb at UR. He has been involved in a number a number of initiatives aimed at filling the Rwanda insurance sector capacity gap and in designing the East African professional Insurance curriculum which was sponsored by the EAC and the World Bank. He sis a board member of a number of insurance organizations addressing the socio economic needs of Rwanda.
