Four (4) University of Rwanda academics have successfully defended their PhD thesis in the course of one week from various Swedish varsities.
Muvumba marshland is one of the largest rice zone in the country with 1750 hectares which is equivalent to 15 % of total marshland area in Rwanda.
Aimable Nsabimana is one of our new PhD graduates studying economics in Sweden. He is the first PhD graduate of the third phase of the UR-Sweden Programme.
It was a worthwhile opportunity provided to 100 prospective University graduates from 20 disciplines. The training was organized by OHCEA RWANDA in partnership with USAID, University of Rwanda, University of Minnesota and Tufts University
From Monday 4th June to 14th June 2018 a group of graduate students from Syracuse University, USA joined together with UR students from Schools of Science, Mining and Geology and Engineering under the supervision of instructors from University of Rwanda and Professors from Syracuse University.
