Announcement for GIS Training

In the framework of UR - Sweden Programme for Research, Higher Education and Institutional Advancement - GIS subprogramme, the College of Science and Technology, through its Centre for Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing (CGIS), has the pleasure to organize a One Week GIS training which will take place at UR Nyarugenge Campus (4^th Floor, Agaciro Hall) from Monday 4^th to 8^th March 2019.

1. Number of Participants : 25
2. Who can apply ? UR academic staff and postgraduate students (PhD and MSc/MA students). Female are highly encouraged to apply !
3. Requirements : Computer skills (especially Ms Excel and basic skills in Ms Access)
4. How to apply ? Just send an email to the training organizer Mr. Joseph Tuyishimire (tuyishimirejoseph@gmail.com) with a copy to CGIS Director Mr. Gaspard Rwanyiziri (grwanyiziri@gmail.com) at the latest on Friday, 8^th February 2019 at 5.00 PM.

All expenses (transport and living costs) for participants from outside of the City of Kigali will be covered by UR-Sweden Cooperation/GIS Subprogramme.
