Information Campaign about Wetlands : A natural solution to climate change

In celebration of World Wetlands Day the Centre of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management has organized a Radio Show with Salus Radio and a Half-Day Information Campaign at EAV Kabutare, Huye, Topic : Wetlands : A natural solution to climate change

Well managed wetlands ensure communities are resilient and can bounce back from disasters. The CoEB will run an information campaign and Radio Show with an aim to raise public awareness of wetland values and benefits and promote the conservation and wise use of wetlands. Campaign will include : presentations, panel session by students on how wetlands naturally help us cope with climate change and a walk for wetlands at Rwasave swamp. Campaign will take place at EAV Kabutare on Saturday, 2^nd February 2019 from 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM and radio show will take place at radio Salus on Thursday, 31st January 2019 from 4:00PM -5:00 PM.
