UR academics promoted to associate/full professorial ranks



Dr Laetitia NYIRAZINYOYE (Left) and Dr Margaret JJUUKO were both promoted


We are excited to announce that Dr Laetitia NYIRAZINYOYE has been promoted to the rank of Professor in Public Health.

Dr. Laetitia NYIRAZINYOYE works for the Department of the School of Public Health, College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Rwanda.

Initially, she was trained as a nurse at the Rwamagana School of Nursing and Midwifery (Infirmière accoucheuse A2) from which she graduated in 1996 with Distinction. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health in 2002 at the National University of Rwanda and joined academic staff of the University the same year. In 2007 after receiving her Masters of Science in International Development and Technology Transfer, Dr. Laetitia was awarded a Ph.D. in 2011, in International Health and Development with a concentration in community health programs at Tulane University.
