Welcome to the Legal Division of the University of Rwanda. The Legal Division supports the teaching and research missions of the university by providing legal advice to all intervention of UR and liaise with regulatory agencies on all legal matters.

UR staff are encouraged to contact Legal Division at the inception of a project with legal obligations to UR or at the first sign of a legal problem. Early consultation with Legal Division will often avoid complications that could arise later. .

• To oversee and provide legal advice on all University interventions;
